It is a higher education program launched by the ICG Software Group, personally promoted by our President, Andreu Pi Pocurull.
ICGUniversity is an exciting project with which we participate in the training at the highest level of future professionals in the hospitality industry. In the territorial area of Catalonia, the project has the collaboration of the Department of Education of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
We are providing technology through this program. Our solutions are present in a large number of training centers where the different Degrees in Hospitality and Tourism are taught in order to promote and train future professionals in ICT and facilitate their access to the labor market.
But ICGUniversity goes beyond technology transfer, it is a program in which we are developing the necessary teaching material, following the curricular contents established by the Administration, which will make it easier for schools and teachers to have standardized material for training. It also includes a continuing education program for teachers to train them in the use of ICG solutions provided to academic centers.
On the other hand, ICGUniversity envisages collaboration with colleges and faculties in order to launch postgraduate courses in Tourism and Catering, and use ICT as the main management tools in its curricula.
